Volunteer Guidelines

If you have volunteered for Summit StageFest, please look over this information to learn more about your day.

Volunteer Guidelines Details

As a volunteer, you are an integral part of the show. Your primary role is to be helpful and welcoming to others at the festival. As you are handling your assigned tasks, please be attentive to those around you. Make eye contact, smile, say "hi" and engage with them. Little gestures like these go a long way to setting the tone of the day.

The volunteer check-in booth is located directly in front of the library's entrance doors. All volunteers should check-in here. If you have been assigned a shift, please check-in at least 15 minutes early. Please remember that traffic can be slow near the event.

Volunteers will receive a green StageFest t-shirt while supplies last. We ask you to wear the t-shirt while volunteering at the festival. Some of our local businesses have provided other goodies as well.

You will receive a volunteer mini-guide with answers to common questions and phone numbers for key contacts. Please refer to this mini-guide for simple tasks that you can perform throughout the day and to answer questions for vistors. You should also have a few programs on hand to give to visitors who have questions.

We are expecting beautiful weather, but in the case of a shower, please head to the nearest stage. They may need help moving equipment to shelter, drying seats, etc. We will have towels on hand.
